Parabolas are represented in the forms of (x-h)^2 = 4p(y+k) if the parabolas are open upwards or downwards, and (y-k)^2 = 4p(x+h) if the parabolas are open to the right or to the left.

Video: Algebra - Graphing Linear Equation on Slope-Intercept Form
Lesson on graphing linear equations using the slope-intercept form. Slope-intercept form is represented by the equation y= mx + b, where m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. Slope is the rise over run, and y-intercept is the coordinate of the equation when x = 0. By plotting the y-intercept, the second point can be determined using the slope.

Video: Algebra - Finding the X and Y Intercepts
Lesson on solving for x-intercepts and y-intercept to graph an equation of a line. X-intercepts can be solved by setting the value of y into 0. Likewise, y-intercepts can be solved by setting the value of x into 0. Since two points make a line, finding the x and y intercepts are enough to graph the equation of the line.

Ine-equate nito ang factors sa 0 para makuha ang sagot. Maaring mga quadratic, cubic, o ano mang klase ng polynomial ang mga expressions mo.

Video: Trigonometry Law of Cosines
Aralin tungkol sa pagintindi ng mga law of cosines, at ang paggamit nito sa paghanap ng mga nawawalang parte ng mga oblique triangle. Gamit ang law of cosines, maarang mahanap ang mga nawawalang parte ng oblique triangle. Tandaan lang ang mga parte na mayroon ang triangle, at ang formula ng law of cosines.
